Braker’s Market is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Deli Team Member to join our team. The Deli Department plays an important role in providing fresh, high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. This position is responsible for preparing and fulfilling customer orders, stocking products, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and supporting daily deli operations.
This is a fast-paced position that requires standing for extended periods and frequent customer interaction. Successful team members are dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Deli Team Members are expected to follow all workplace safety procedures, store policies, and food handling regulations while working collaboratively with fellow team members to provide an excellent customer experience.
Pay
Starting at $17 per hour
Store Hours
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Schedule & Availability
- Flexible scheduling available
- Typical shifts range from 4–8 hours
- Some Saturday availability required (approximately one Saturday every 3–4 weeks)
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and fulfill customer deli orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating deli products
- Fill orders for café and production departments as needed
- Operate commercial meat slicers and other deli equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas and equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members to support daily store operations
- Support other departments and perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds or more at times
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
- Ability to safely use ladders when necessary
- Ability to work in refrigerated food preparation and storage areas
